Adding new songs to home sharing?
I have downloaded some songs (not on iTunes) and I have home sharing turned on on my computer (but it is nit the principal home sharing computer). I was wondering how to put these songs on my iPhone? I tried to add them but they said they couldn't because of home sharing. I don't have an apple computer if that is helpful.
The songs work fine on the computer. I tried to firstly sync my phone but they didn't transfer and so I tried the 'manually add songs' but it wouldn't let me!

Added (1). No the Home Sharing device on iTunes. But I have a windows 8 computer.
Do you mean on windows? If windows then just right click on the files or folders and then choose "share with" then homegroup(whatever you made). If else then there's a problem on your files.
- What is need for file sharing in iphones, when we download free mp3 songs in apps? Why ppl keep saying file share with android is problem? I don't think if we can download in itself why file sharing even required?
- Sharing my iTunes songs with another iPhone? I have an iPod and I have my iTunes set up on my laptop with all my songs and such. A friend of mine has an iPhone and has an account for his phone but hasn't set up iTunes for music. He has an account for his iPhone but just doesn't have music. Can he hook his iPhone up to my computer to share some of my music with him? Or will I lose my music and will things get messed up? How would we go about it, if its possible?
- ITunes home sharing mac and pc? My family has a mac computer and I have recently got a pc. I have bought many movies and songs and apps on the mac for my iPhone. But that computer has no more space to download more music and I want to do it on my PC I downloaded a few songs on my laptop but when I went to put them on my phone it said that if I wanted to do that I would have to delete all the stuff on the mac. I'm using home sharing thing but still not working what do I do?
- Iphone 5s not adding in new contacts to phone? I have the Iphone 5s, when I add new contacts they are not apperaing in my contacts list. I have synced all the contacts in the settings, I have unsycned and resycenced from icloud already. The strange thing is when I go to text messages and type the name it appears right away but when I look for the same indiviudal in my contacts it is not there.
