After deleting songs on iphone/ipod…
will they then be deleted from itunes when you reconnect, or will they be re-added back to your device all over again for round 2 of misery?
Basically if I delete from device, do I also need to delete from iTunes for song to be permanently gone forever?
They will be resynced. That is the annoying thing about the connection between Apple devices. If you want to get rid of songs, go to itunes first and delete any you don't want anymore. Once you are finished, connect your iphone or ipod and wait until the device installs successfully. Then, go to on this ipod and click on sync. It will now remove any songs on your iphone and ipod. Good luck! I learned the hard way by having three of the same songs from all of my artists!
