Am I charging my iPhone too much?

I have an iPhone 3GS and I use it a lot. Usually charge it once a day. Is this bad? Will my phone break because of too much charging?

That's fine. It's much better if you don't use it while its charging. Apple phones are built to last only for a day.

I charge mine every 2 days or 1 day, but if its below 20% then I would charge it

Charging your iPhone necessarily when it's on a high percentage of battery is not good for the overall life of the phone but if you are charging your phone when it is on a low percentage, you should be fine.

  • My IPhone 5 isn't charging when I plug it in but the charging 'symbol' comes up? I've only had my phone for a few weeks- since Christmas, and today it's been playing up, it keeps turning on and off then when my phone is on the screen at the bottom flickers! I have never dropped this phone or it hasn't been water damaged! I resorted my phone by pressing the lock and home screen and put it on charge, my charge percentage isn't going up it keeps decreasing, even though it says that my phone is on charge, what should I do?

Cheers. kind of agree with you man, But my logitech z5500 system is like $1000 new right now… Insane, don't want to take a chance. But your probably right.
  • Iphone keeps charging and un charging? Okay so it's an old Iphone 4, my cousin gave me it but for a while when I plug it into my docking station in a while it will say it's not charging then I go to charge it and it will do the same thing. How do I fix it?
