Am I obligated to give him his money back?
A few months ago, I sold a guy at my school an iphone 4, for $200, which he then got activated with the phone service Revol. And now that the phone service is going out of business, he came up to me and asked me for the money back for the phone. Keeping in mind that the sale happened in early October, am I obligated to give him his money back?
No, if you sell me a phone, I drop it and it breaks do you give me money for my stupidity
No.
He can always change carriers.
He bought it, he used it. If he now has a problem with his provider that is nothing to do with you.
You're not a store and all sales are final. I would have more sympathy for him if he asked for his money back within a week.
No, if he asked the next day then maybe its a discussion. A few months? No way, thats now his.
Let's say I bought a car, and some time later, my road was closed… Does the car dealer have to buy my car back? Of course not.
You sold him the phone, not the service. He can always go to a different phone company.
It's up to you if you want to refund his money for the sake of your friendship or something, but you certainly are not legally or morally obligated to do anything.
If you do give it back you are dumber than he is
- Why didn't his faith save him like it was supposed to? The bible said he couldn't get hurt if he believed, but he died. I don't understand. http://www.northjersey.com/news/national/Snake-handling_Kentucky_pastor_dies_from_snake_bite.html?mobile=1&ic=1&iphone=1
- When you give APPLE a defective IPHON do they give you a reconditioned one back? My IPHONE had a defect, still under warranty, so I took it to an Apple MAC store and after a few days they gave it back, supposedly repaired. Now the replaced IPHONE has a problem, different than the previous problem I'm now having a problem with the taking a photo. Do they just replace your phone with a reconditioned one they say no but?
- On my husband is cheating and I want to know how I can catch him through his iPhone? He's always on his phone texting and emails from dating sites and the ATT company also said that he had to homepages? I know I'm not crazy! An I really don't know what I will do when I find the truth.
- Do I have to give him back her money? I sold an Iphone 4s to this girl. We met and she got a chance to see it, feel it out and test it. She was ok with the condition. Later that day I get a message saying that something is wrong with its software and that blah blah she wants her money back. I don't what the problem is that she is having and I used 40% of the money she gave me in alcohol. What should I do?
