Amazon item delayed over 2 weeks?
I bought a new phone off of amazon since my old one broke(IPhone 5, white, 16gbs)
Anyhow, the esitmated delivery, after ordering it on the 29th, was June 5th. Not ideal, but whatever, right? Now, I check online, and it says it's delayed until june 22nd?! Here is a screen shot of what it says.
IIm annoyed because I can't even return it, and I do need it before that date. Is this a common thing, and it should arrive before the 22nd? Is there a way to contact amazon support or somebody to maybe see what's up and/or speed it up? Or am I going to have to suck it up? Any help at all would be much appreciated.
Added (1). I live in NYC if that's any help, so I don't think any "MAJOR" events would be stopping it, since it's already in the state. Bethpage NY, as a matter of fact. If anything, It'd probably be easier to DRIVE and pick it up than to wait almost a month for it.
What do you mean you can't return it? If the item hasn't shipped yet, you can cancel the order and go buy elsewhere.
Better question is where is the package being sent? If you are in the Texas/Oklahoma area, of course it is gong to be delayed due to the flooding.
- Would you say waiting 2 weeks outside store to buy an item is dumb? Example - waiting or camping to buy an iphone. - waiting outside for the black Friday event. Is it worth it? Let's say your per hour at work is $7. That 56/day. $280 a week. $560 in two week. So if you missed work for those days that 560 in loss.
- Will Chase SLATE card honor a purchase protection claim for item bought in Amazon? About 40 days ago, I bought an iPhone 5 on Amazon from a "reputable seller" (not a retail store like best buy or a big chain), yesterday I my phone got stolen, filed a police report and everything since someone stole my wallet as well. My concern is, will chase (slate card) WILL give me their purchase protection benefit even though the item was bought on Amazon? The item was new and below 500 USD, will they reimburse me?
- Why isn't my item showing on amazon? I'm trying to sell my old iPhone, an hour after i put it up it wasn't in the listings why not? No i didn't check, but i clicked the sell yours here button and added all the details and everything but its gone. I don't want to put it up again yet because i'm worried it might still be on and ill be selling 2
- Why are my texts so delayed with one person? I have an iPhone 4 with tmobile and she has an iPhone 4s with sprint. And the texts are like an hour late or I just don't get them at all. I don't know how to fix the problem we've both restarted our phones. My conversations with other people are working just fine but between me and her it's not working.
