Apps keep crashing + problems with soft reset (IPhone 5c)?

I bought a manufacturer refurbished IPhone 5c from E-Bay about a month ago and I've encountered a few problems - the first of which being that it froze for several days (but that's now been fixed). Just recently all my apps have been crashing, even official apple ones, and I could only fix it with a soft reset. However, when I do a soft reset it glitches and freezes on the Apple logo (another thing I've noticed is that when I do this it doesn't ask for me to unlock my sim like it usually does). Any advice?

There are no apple manufacturer refurbished iPhones… It is usually done in China where they put in knock off parts of low quality. My only suggestion is to try to backup and then restore the phone in iTunes on a computer.
