Best Camera to use for soccer games?

My iphone 6 camera is not good enough for capturing video at the opposite end of the soccer field. I have to start submitting high quality videos of my son's soccer team to scouts in Europe. Can someone suggest a good affordable camera for that? I've heard a go pro would be great but I've never used one before and I figured a camera with a stand would work better.

A GoPro would be useless to you - it has such a wide field of view that anything at the far end of the pitch would be almost invisible. Speaking as someone who used to video his son's football matches (no one on this side of the pond calls it "soccer". The only way to do it is to run up and down the sidelines. I don't know what you mean by "high quality" - talent scouts aren't interested in your videography skills. That said, if you stick a consumer level camcorder on an image stabilising system you should be OK. There are lots of examples on YouTube etc.

The Canon VIXIA HF R500 Digital Camcorder would do the job check out the link http://amzn.to/...to/1Q3eDvK

3.28 megapixel 1080p full HD CMOS sensor with DIGIC DV 4 image processor
57x advanced zoom and Super Range Optical Image Stabilizer
3-inch capacitive touch panel LCD offers fast, easy, intuitive controls
High capacity battery pack ensures extended shooting time
Features include Advanced baby mode, Audio Scene Select, Smart AUTO, Cinema-Look filter effects and Video Snapshot

A GoPro is definitely NOT the camera for your purposes. Take a look at the good camcorders in the Canon VIXIA series. Shooting at such distances, you'll need a good zoom and good image stabilization.
