Better megapixels, ipod 4g, ipod 5g or iphone 4?

Which camera has better megapixels out of the three

Since the number of pixels on a sensor is not what indicates the quality of an image, but the actual size of the sensor, It may be that all of those Apple products will produce the same quality images.

The iPhone 5 has slightly more pixels than the other two, but the sensors are still tiny.

Here are the comparisons of those three camera sensors when compared to a digital SLR camera

You should be able to see why dSLR cameras produce higher quality images.

IPOD 4th gen: Camera:
0.7 megapixels
Camcorder:
1280x720 (720p HD) (30 fps)

IPOD 5th gen:

5-megapixel iSight camera

Backside illumination
Hybrid IR filter
Five-element lens

FaceTime HD camera with 1.2MP photos and HD video (720p) up to 30 frames per second

Photo and video geotagging over Wi-Fi

IPHONE 4:

5-megapixel still camera
VGA-quality photos and video at up to 30 frames per second with the front camera
Tap to focus video or still images
LED flash
Photo and video geotagging

I would choose IPOD 5th gen only cause its newest, sleeker, and has a better camera by the looks of it, ipod 4g comes in last place definitely

With those sensors, it doesn't really matter. Megapixels are "sold" to the public but, in fact, have small affect on the outcome of a photo in that range.

FYI: MP are just a count of the size of the pictures. Doesn't mean the quality would be better because of having more.

iPod touch 4G - 0.7MP
iPod touch 5G - 5MP
iPhone 4 - 5MP
