Broken 4s, old iPhone 4, can I switch phones on my verizon contract?

Basically, my iPhone 4s was run over by a Bradley Tank, during some training for the Army in Minnesota. I have an old iPhone 4, with no sim card slot that was also used for Verizon. I have a two year contract, with 1.5 years left, is there anyway I could switch from my 4s to the older iPhone 4 so I don't have to pay 400+ outrageous dollars for a new phone? I mean, for that amount of money I may as well just pay the cancellation fee. -.

Well you should call them up and ask, but for me… I currently am paying for 128 dollars for unlimited talk and message and 4 g of internet and I'm also paying an addition 10 dollars just incase my Iphone 5s gets damage/lost/stolen so I will be able to replace it. You need to find out what you are paying for, (if it includes damage/lost/stolen phones) or let them know your current enrollment at the army base and see if they could provide another phone like the Iphone 4. Speak in a sweet voice and stuff that they usually can't do, they will just because you spoke nicely to them and explained your situation without flipping out.

  • Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
  • When apple replaces a broken iphone, do you get to keep the old broken one? The back camera on my iPhone 4s broke (just stopped working), so I called Apple and I have an appointment set up to replace the old phone with a brand new one. But, I want to know if when they give me the new phone, will they let me keep the old one? The phone still works fine except for the camera. In fact, it's almost perfect. And obviously I want to sell the old one on ebay to make a boat load.
  • Is there a way I can switch to Verizon edge even though my 2-year contract isn't up? My poor iPhone 5c has a cracked screen and some of the letters are really hard to use with the screen! I never got Applecare or any type of I've had my iPhone for a 18months (1year & 5months) and I was wondering is it an option to upgrade early and participate with Verizon edge plan even though my two year contract isn't up? I've heard of something called the early edge and is that still available with Verizon or no? (Please NO RUDE COMMENTS!)
  • IPhone 5 is broken. And Verizon 2 years contract? I have one issue with my iPhone 5. I dropped accidentally while I was shooting pics for project. I didn't expect this happening… Entire glass is crashed and the phone itself is malfunction. So I wonder what if I change my current phone to 5C or new 5? I'm not sure if I can change it or not since I did 2 years contract…
