Buying iphone 5 from craigslist?
Will Verizon verify if the phone is not stolen or lost and has a clean ESN before i buy the phone from the person? I mean like if i ask the person whom i'm buying the phone from to meet me at Verizon.
Yes they will, you can call them as well.
The seller can give you the esn, you can check it, you can buy the phone, use the phone, but then the seller can report it lost-or-stolen which will then make your phone unusable forever.
Buying a craigslist phone is just not worth the risk, don't risk it.
