Camera on iphone 4 after iOS 6 isn't working?

I recently downloaded ios 6 on my iphone 4 it worked good for awhile but now my camera won't work at all. When i open it, it just sit with the shutter thing on or just black.i've tried turning it off and on and reseting it but nothing is helping. It's really frustrating because i'm going to a concert today, so please please help me!

You could try the apple forums or taking it to a genius at an ple store. My guess though is you'll need to do a phone reset. Make sure you connect your phone to iTunes, and back it up. Then click on restore on the phones main page in iTunes. Backing up before restoring is key to not losing anything you will still lose any text messages I believe and some account settings. I'm not 100% positive on that though.

I've left it in rice for a couple days and it turns on and I can get calls, but when I go to the camera it's just a black screen, for the front facing camera too, I can't take photos at all. Also I can't connect to my home Wi-Fi. Is it still wet? Or maybe it hit the sink when it fell and something disconnected?

  • Which camera is better: An old General Imaging x500 Digital Camera or an iPhone 7 front camera? It looks like an iPhone only offers 7 MP while this camera boasts 16 MP but this camera is so old and looks worse at least on its own screen. I'm confused
