Can a iPhone 6 connect to a Linksys media hub?

Can it connect via the wireless network through a router or a Bluetooth dongle? Obviously not right off the bat but what sort of software if any would be useful for this?

Through a router, it should. But I believe you will need an App, the Media hub does not support AFS natively it does UPnP/DLNA like AirPlayer.

  • MY Linksys WRT54G doesn't connect to the internet through wi-fi? The router is connected to an ADSL modem. I do have internet connection on my PC that is connected to the router via Ethernet cable, but when I connect to the same router through Wi-Fi on my iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone it shows that they are connected but I can't access the internet. Their browsers try to open the webpages but they fail after 10-15 seconds. I did try to remove the security options from the router. It didn't help. It's set on DHCP.
  • My iphone 4s keeps losing Wi-Fi signal from my home hub? I recently downloaded apple latest update for the iphone 4s and it connects to my home network however it does lose connection.
  • Is there a notable difference between the Linksys RE1000 and RE2000? I currently own a Linksys EA4500 (N900) and am looking to boost the signal. I heard Linksys is the way to go, but is it worth the extra $20 to get the RE2000 over the RE1000? I live in a three story house and the router is currently in the basement. Only devices that use internet are the PS3, LG Blu-Ray Player, and some apple devices (macbooks, iphones, iPads, etc.)… Nothing fancy.
  • I have a old linksys router? I want to know if I can make my old linksys router into a signal booster for my new Wi-Fi router if so how would I do it and what settings would I have to change to make it work with my other router and can both routers be close to each other because I only have one computer set up in my house but lots of wireless electronics such as my iPhone and laptop.
