Can an iphone 4 be tracked if?
My sister found an iphone last night while we were shopping. It was dead so she took it home with us.
When we got home, she charged it a little. She took the sim card out and cut it up, and discarded it. Then she restored the phone to factory settings. So now it looks like its brand new.
Can she use it? Can they track the phone to her?
Each iPhone has a unique I'd that is not part of the SIM card. If the previous owner reports it lost-or-stolen, she's busted.

On Monday night my phone went missing at a nightclub, I'm unsure whether it was lost or stolen however a couple of other things went missing from my bag. I know now that the phone has been taken, using iCoud and "find my iphone" I tracked my phone to a house on a road near to the club, so someone has obviously found/taken my phone home with them. Are the police able to do anything about this as i know the location of my phone?

If someone has stolen an i phone 5 can it be somehow tracked if sim is disabled/ destroyed, the phone has been completely reset to factory settings and had a new sim from a different provider placed into it with find my phone, location services all turned off too. is there any way by using IMEI number or other that it can be tracked by police, phone provider or other?
- If i turn the location services off on my iphone can my iphone still be tracked? Okay my mom has a tracker on my phone and i don't want her tracking me all the time but its okay sometimes, if i turn the location services of on my iphone will she still be able to track me? And if not will she know she can't track me? Also will i be able to call and text on this setting? Please and thanks peeps!
