Can apple tell if my iphone is jailbroken?

Hi, my iphone fell and the screen stopped working (can receive calls, but you can't see anything because of the broken screen). Anyway, i'm planning on taking it to apple to get a replacement by paying £120. However, i was wondering whether apple can still tell if the iphone is jailbroken by plugging it into one of their computers, or would they just look at the screen and replace it.

You would have to be careful, but as long as you didn't give away anything about the jailbreak, they should just fix it and you would be on your way.

  • Is an iPhone better 'jailbroken' or not 'jailbroken'? I just got the iPhone 5 and I keep hearing about 'jailbreaking' iPhones to be able to do a lot more things. So my question is: Is jailbreaking an iPhone bad? What kind of cool things can I do if I jailbrake it? How do I jailbrake it, if its a good thing?
  • Changed my iphone 4s to white can apple tell if it supposed to be black? I still have warranty on my iPhone and it was black so I paid a company to get it white. But my iphone 4s is having an issue and I know they will normally replace it no problem. But my phone is now white, can they tell by the serial or something does it show up as black. Or do they just test the phone and check warranty and see if there's damage caused by you and just give you the same phone.
  • Can Sprint tell if your iphone 4 was jailbroken? So I jailbroke my iphone 4 and something went wrong the camera roll wasn't saving pictures so I deleted Cydia and restored my phone but the camera roll isn't saving pics. I restored it like 3 or 2 times. I'm wondering can they find out and also is there a way to fix it at home probably?
  • Can AT&T tell if i've ever jailbroken my iPhone? I've been thinking about jailbreaking my iPhone 4 lately, but I have some concerns regarding exactly how to do it and what it does, but most importantly if AT&T can tell. I read that restoring/resetting your phone will get rid of jailbreak, but I also heard that, even if you reset it, AT&T can still tell you did it at one time. Does anyone know if this is true? Also, if anyone has any tips on jailbreaking, i'd greatly appreciate it!
