IPhones are capable of call waiting, yes- if you have the feature on you will be notified of incoming calls even when in a call and can opt to accept the incoming call which automatically puts the first call on hold.
You can also make a second call while in a call, putting the first call on hold. You can then merge (conference call) the two or swap back and forth between the two.
- Switching cell phone carriers while keeping same iPhone? Can I keep my iPhone and switch carriers w/out getting a different phone & also (if possible) w/out jail-breaking my current one. - Restoring iphone, but keeping apps and contacts? It was getting a bit slow, and I want to restore it so its clean and fresh. My contacts are synced through icloud, so how will I get them back when the phone is restored? also, my apps will still be in itunes so I can resync them as well correct?
- Keeping my iphone 4s charged help? Stupid thing runs out of battery so quickly? Any tips on keeping my iphone charged. I use it for business so as a small business owner in real estate I'm quite a talker texter but my phone can't keep up. The stupid battery runs dry by 10am if I start calls etc at 8am. Any suggestions as to extending the charge life? I'm not that proficient in any technology so not aware of the tricks but seriously even if I just take a few calls and run an internet search there goes the battery.
- Is this fixable? And if it is can I use it while keeping my current contract? I have an iPhone 4th gen and I was wondering If I could switch to my brothers old iPhone 5s. I'm not sure if it's fixable though. The home button fell off and the screen is in horrible condition. A rough estimate of how much it would cost would be great too.
