Can I change my black iPhone 4 to a white one?
Okay, so I just want to make this clear. I'm VERY happy with my black iphone 4. I couldn't ask for anything better. I received my iPhone from my parents for Christmas. Therefore I did not get to pick if I wanted black or white. I actually didn't think I would even get one. I just put it on my list as iPhone just joking around knowing that I would never get one. Anyways I didn't get to pick. I was wondering can I take my iphone somewhere so that they can switch the black front and back to white? If so, where and how much would that cost? Or is there any type of case or something that I could put on it but I could still put other cases over it? Again, I'm honestly just curious. I prefer the white iphone, but I'm perfectly fine with my black one.

Buy a white skin for it, it'll snap on the front and back
Ya the white is pretty, but the black is less distracting
for exampile if you are watching a movie or playing a game, your eyes will not drift to the black phone as they would with a white phone
But at the apple stare you can buy cases for your phone that make it look a defferent colour (pink, blue, green etc) but they are quite pricey ($40-$60)
If i were you id just stary with black.
Yes there's the tedious process of converting the front and back to a white iPhone however, it's not an easy thing to do yourself so I recommend finding a shop that does it. Personally I would respectfully recommend that you not do it just yet because once the front assembly is changed you've lost your apple warranty. I suggest doing after your warranty expires because you wouldn't be shooting yourself in the foot if you ever need to replace your phone within warranty.
Some alternatives are iPhone skins that someone mentioned already. I have a carbon skin on my iPhone 5 because personally I don't understand what apples design team was thinking on this phone lol. And as long as you get a good quality one thats cut precisely then it's hard to notice that its just a skin at first glance. Check ebay or just google iPhone 4 skins. It's basically a decal that's cut to fit your phones face and back.
EDIT: I just thought of something though. The plastic border of the front and back glass will still be exposed after putting on the skin. It may look kinda cool to be honest though.It'll be like your own little reverse ice cream sandwich or an like a reverse Oreo or something lol =P but I think it may look pretty interesting personally. Otherwise a white case would be another option of course.
Go to www.skinit.com. You can make a custom skin just for you phone and it fits perfectly over the front and back of the iPhone. You can just do a plan white skin or you can add text/graphics to make it custom
- What do I need to change a black iPhone 4 to a white one? My dad is really good with mechanics and God knows what else, but I asked him to replace my phone to a white one if I payed for it. He said he would but all the conversion kits were so expensive! I planned to buy everything separate off Amazon. Everything on my phone works just fine I just wanted to change the color. What all do I need? Keep in mind that I already bought a back and just the front glass. Do I need to order a new LCD Digitizer? Or would I be able to use my old one?
- Iphone has white screen black apple logo frozen it occasionally goes black then that screen shows up again screen went red once?
