Can I get straight talk working?
I have a sprint iPhone 4 with a bad esn that I bought of off eBay… Can I get it working with any prepaid carriers? Like virgin mobile, Straight talk or any of those?
Not with Straight Talk. They use GSM phones only.
If the phone has a bad ESN, it's likely you won't be able to activate it anywhere. BAD ESNs are caused by phones reported stolen (and later found or recovered), damaged phones that were replaced, or phones owned by deadbeats who stopped paying their bill. The reason the ESN is "bad" is because it's been tagged by the carrier that way, so it can't be activated on that carrier's network (i.e., Sprint).
And the prepaid carriers will not activate such a phone, even if they could, which they often can't.
Of course, they don't tell you this when they sell you the phone, so now you're stuck with a brick.
- Why is straight talk not working in my zip code? I bought an ATT iPhone 4s and a micro sim card from straight talk that was compatible with this phone. I activated it, and it says "no service." I've heard that straight talk uses ATT towers, and they work fine in our area. So what is the problem?

When i put the sim card in the iphone a notification changes from no sim card to no service. I tried to activate the sim card using the serial number on it via straight talk website. It keeps telling that the serial number isn't recognized. I don't know if I need a new sim card or what I need to do. Can someone please help me?!

I got a card with unlimited talk, text and web and activated yesterday and the only problem I have is I can't use the internet. Can anybody help or should I just call straight talk
