Can I jailbreak my iPhone 4S? - 2
I used to have my iPhone 3GS jail broken a couple years ago during Christmas (when it was as simple as going to jailbreak.me ans sliding!) and I had this awesome Christmas theme that I fell in love with. I want to use it again this year, but the stuff I found online is IMPOSSIBLE to understand!
I'm running iOS 5.1.1, btw
Can I jailbreak? If not, can I downgrade my iOS to a previous version to jailbreak?

I don't think Apple is going to help me out when jailbreaking is looked down upon…

Yes, always use redsn0w (the one that's compatible for your iOS)
My iPhone 4 is jailbroken with redsn0w 0.9.11b1 and I believe I'm running on iOS 5.1
P.S- The good things from Cydia are harder to get if above 5.0 in iOS
as of now, if I download a theme with my 5.1, some of the icons won't turn into the designed pattern.
I've tried downgrading it's unbelievably hard if you've lost your S/blobs. I wouldn't recommend it.

make sure iTunes is closed after you connect iphone
open absinthe and follow the instructions on screen
it takes about 4-5 mins to do, so not long at all
