Can I put an AT&T iPhone 5 on Verizon?
My brother-in-law broke his iPhone 5 I want to give him my old one but I have AT&T and he has Verizon will it work
It will not work. Verizon will not activate a non-Verizon phone. Plus they use a CDMA network and AT&T is GSM.
Nope, not compatible. Verizon doesn't use SIM card and AT&T iPhone are not CDMA capable.
- Does the iPhone 5 come unlocked from Verizon so I can put in a different SIM card? I'm going to study abroad in Germany for a few months and want to make sure I can use my iPhone 5 from Verizon with a different phone company over there by just using a different SIM card. - Can Verizon put my memory card's content on my iPhone 5 for me? My mom wants to buy me an iPhone 5 for my 16th birthday today but the problem is my computer broke and it won't be fixed for another 3 weeks, so can Verizon put my memory card's content from my old phone on my iPhone 5 for me in the store or would I have to do that myself on my computer? Should I just wait until my computer is fixed to get my phone? (Currently I have the LG Lucid and for texting the phone is complete crap.)
