Can I technically get part of my money back from this?
I bought a iPhone 6s from someone on eBay a month or so ago. The phone was in near perfect condition and works well. The thing is that it came with a case. It was a life proof case (which aren't cheap). When I got it in the mail there was a small piece that was coming off. There was nothing mentioned in the description that the case had any issues. Over the course of a couple weeks the piece started to rip more. I'm afraid that it will technically make it so water can get between the case and ruin my phone. I tried contacting the seller a few weeks ago, but have never received a reply about the issue. I'm not sure what to do. I feel like I should get part of my money back at least because I technically did buy the case with the phone and there was nothing mentioned that there were any flaws. What should I do?
Added (1). But I didn't even have the case for a day and it was broken! Plus I contacted the seller before it was a month and never got a reply!
Nope. It's been a month. You are out of luck. Buy a new case.
Contact eBay, they'll sort it out for you, but for future reference, report it to them as soon as you get it, if there's a defect of course!

Buyer error, you bought it and a deals a deal. Sorry, try again next time. Just throw out the case and get a cheaper one. If I could recommend, I would say Tech21 because that's what I have and I've literally thrown my phone and it's fine
Unless you can prove would have paid less if you just bought phone without the case, it might have been possible to get money back for the case. But the case was thrown in as a freebie I'm pretty sure, unless the ad stated case was in perfect condition, which I doubt it did.
Buy a new case and move on.

I don't think you can do anything now. You should've told the seller when you got the phone. Even if you file a dispute on PayPal, it won't be supported now since it's been this long and you didn't say anything when you received the phone.
