Can I transfer data from iPhone to another?
I dropped my iPhone 5 in water, and I think the amount of times I kept trying to turn it on may have shorted it out. I tried the rice trick and it didn't work, so I guess I'm going to have to resort to getting a new one. Is it possible to transfer data like contacts, photos, etc from one iPhone to another? Because I have ones on there I don't want to lose. Help? Thanks!
Added (1). Would it be possible for whatever company I use to do a data transfer also? In case I can't do it, because my charger wouldn't even go into my phone this morning.
If you backed it up in itunes or icloud then yes its easy to copy stuff over. If you were too lazy to do that and think now you want to back it up after damage was already done, then consider it a good lesson learned as you are probably going to lose it.
Yes very possible, but since it can't turn on you'd have to use the next most recent backup (assuming you have one). ITunes makes one whenever you sync or update the device.
In this case I'd check an Apple Store to see what they could do.
