Can I upgrade my iphone 4 to 5.1.1 without losing my jailbreak and installous apps?
I have a jailbroken iphone 4 which is currently running IOS 5.0.1
I want to upgrade my iphone to 5.1.1 but I don't want to lose all the apps I've gotten off installous. If I upgrade, will I lose my jailbreak and all the apps I've got if I haven't synced? (I haven't synced because I know itunes will not sync and save my apps which I haven't actually purchased off itunes.)
I'm new to all this technical stuff so please be nice.lol
Anytime you upgrade your software it will remove the jailbreak and you will have to wait for another version of the jailbreak to be released in order to jailbreak it again with the new software
Well I know for a fact that iOS 6.0 is coming out later today, and there's already a jailbreak software for that.
But the answer to your question is, no when you upgrade your software your jailbroken apps will disappear.
