Can I use a iPhone like a iPod?
Ok so I'm wanting to buy a iPod to play on, there's a iPhone 3GS on eBay fir 60 bucks, if I was just going to use it for games and not for texting and messaging, would I still need a plan. Or can I just use it like it's a iPod.
If you aren't going to call or text, you shouldn't need a plan. Also, if you are texting another iPhone, there's iMessage, which I don't think you need a plan for. However, you might want to buy a cheap one just in case
You would probably need a plan but I'm not positive. I have an iPhone 4GS and I'm pretty sure I NEED a plan for it to work
Yes, there's a way to make that happen, but I really don't think you should. One reason being that you could just get an iPod for less on ebay or just get an older version which should be cheap. The second reason being that if this iPhone is really that cheap, there must be something wrong with it.
You do not need a plan. Put the iPod into Airplane mode. It turns off the cellular signal and it is now basically an iPod Touch.
Yes you can use an iphone as a ipod as long as the person selling it deactivated the phone. You can also get a no contract iphone for like $600 through tmobile and apple(prob don't want to do that). As i was saying, to deactivate a iphone, you need and new or another iphone. You take the sim card out and put it in the new iphone. And reset the phone. If the seller did that, than you can use the iphone like a ipod.
Be aware that there were some versions of the iPhone 3G and 3GS made for use in China which do not have Wi-Fi. Look on this page for the models named: (China/No Wi-Fi)

- If your iphone have a bad ESN can you connect to Wi-Fi and download like a ipod? Because i saw that a iphone i want online has a bad ESN but will i still be able to connect to Wi-Fi and download games and more like song and just use it as a ipod cause i have a ipod well 2 but i want a iphone just to say i have one and i don't want to activate it so i don't care if the Esn is bad or not i just want to know if i can connect to Wi-Fi and stuff?
- I really Like these pictures but what filters did they use like on the iphone? I know there's Afterlight and vsco cam. I use those all the time… But these pictures(from tumblr) have a different feeling to them. The filter is a darker, blueish, kinda vintage tumblr looking filter and I wanna know what they used!
