Can I use German vodafone sim card on my New Zealand iphone?
I just moved to Germany from New Zealand. When I asked a guy who works at German vodafone if I could actually use German sim card on my NZ phone, he said I can so I'm using it at the moment.
It worked when I texted someone normally but it didn't work when I tried to call *114# to check my balance.
What I should do when I want to call someone and to check how much data I have got left on my phone.
It will be a different number to call (here its 1345). You need to call Vodafone and check for the number, or better, set up an online account with them and you can check everything on their site.

The code to check your balance might be different than the code it was back in NZ, make sure you are using the correct code. Does the phone display vodafone.de by the bars? If it does then it is most certainly working properly. There may be another option to check your balance if you go to Settings>Phone>Vodafone Services at the very bottom.
- Would it be okay to put a Vodafone SIM card into a new Iphone X? I'm thinking about buying a sim free Iphone x then putting my current vodafone sim card into it. Would this cause any problems or eould it be okay? Id have to buy a new SIM card contract the year after, but I don't mind having to do that.
