Can I use my old HTC One X to substitute for my broken iPhone?

I dropped my iPhone 5c and the screen shattered and I can't buy a new one because of the cost. I can probably afford to get the screen fixed but in the meantime, people keep tell me to use an old phone. Can I use my old HTC One X? And if so, how do I go about this? There's no SIM card that I know of in an iPhone, at least externally. Do I need to take it to an AT&T (my carrier) store? My iPhone still works, it is just really hard to deal with the cracked screen because I keep getting cut from the glass or plastic or whatever it is and also it is very hard to see what is on the screen itself.

Now, one thing you would need to know is that the Iphone 5 uses a nano-SIM, whereas the HTC might be using a micro-SIM. So you'll need to find a SIM adapter that turns your nano-SIM into a micro-SIM or a full-sized SIM, whatever type you need. You can probably get these type of adapters from phone accessory store.

Don't try that, your iPhone may mess up more. You must buy a new one and as and when your iPhone is ok, do install Leo Privacy Guard and make your device totally secure.
