Can I use Verizon iPhone for cricket? - 1
If I have a regular non smart phone with cricket & my friend gave me a Verizon iPhone can I use the iPhone with cricket? Like can I get the Verizon phone flashed if its not in use? And could I use an iPhone without a data plan? Like if I don't have Internet could I still use a iPhone for a cell phone?
Sorry, but no you can't. The Cell Phone Companies have sim card in their phones and they can only be used with said Company. It is a hassle to have them removed i.e. Permission from the Company etc… Not worth it.
- My iPhone 6s plus carrier is cricket 26.1 but when I use the cricket sim it does not work. What is up with that? It use to be a t-mobile carrier but after I tried to unlock it with the cricket sim, the carrier suddenly changed to cricket 29.1 but it still did not work.

And also that it can be unlocked to work on prepaid plans like T Mobile & AT&t. I have googled it and only found mixed answers. It is a 4S, CDMA / GSM phone. Any insight would be helpful. Anyone who has actually done this? I don't want a contract plan. That is why I'm looking at different options with pre paid companies.
