Can I video record or audio record a driving examiner in Ontario?

When you take the Ontario road test for a G2 or G class license, you have to provide your own vehicle and the examiner directs you where to go and what to do for about 15 minutes. What I'm wondering is if because it is my vehicle and I have not seen anything saying otherwise, would it be permissible or legal to set up a camera(most likely via my iPhone with the volume muted completely) in the lower back seat or something where it is not distracting at all? I'm not familiar with the laws on video taping people in Canada weather you have to ask them if it's ok even if it's on your property(they are a passenger in MY vehicle) or can I just record and let them know afterwards?

I had to take my G2 road test again on a technicality. I had the same examiner I had from 4 years ago who failed me 3 times(passed on 4th doing test exact same way but with a different examiner and no mistakes) Everyone in town knows her and hates her. She goes out of her way to be ignorant, rude(rolling her eyes and sighing) and shouting over stupid things(using my finger to active the turn signal and not my whole hand) Anyways, I disapprove the exam consisting of just you and the examiner alone for 15 minutes. So when I take my G test I want to propose if I can put a camera in the back so if she shows any misconduct(false marking, shouting, negative comments/b*tchiness), it won't just be my word against hers and I can actually have something to submit or even post online so that the government can see.

Focus less on the camera fitting and more on trying to please this old witch for 15 minutes and then be DONE with her forever.

If this instructor was so horrible, the DMV's standard evaluations would have raised major red flags. In other words, she IS passing approximately the same ratio of applicants. That you and your friends are having trouble with her sounds a lot more like YOUR problem than hers. Sorry, that's just all there's to it.

  • Will the Comfort Suites Downtown Windsor Ontario pick up ATT wireless signal? I'm going to be traveling to Windsor Ontario soon. I have ATT and an IPhone 4. I will be staying at the Comfort Suites near the Detroit/Windsor Tunnel. I was inquiring if anybody had stayed there and could still pick up the ATT wireless signal, and not get charged for roaming.

  • Will an examiner be able to tell the difference between pictures taken by the iPhone X or a DSLR camera? I'm doing GCSE photography and I have a really high quality moblie camera. However, I was instructed to use a DLSR camera. (Keep in mind when taking photos I will take them in the optimum conditions for iPhone cameras.) Do you think I could fake it?
  • Why won't my iPhone record audio when I take a video? Every time I try to record a video with my iPhone it won't pick up the audio. All I here is this static noise. Sometimes I can barley hear my voice behind all the static. It just randomly started happening. When I record in voice memo it picks up my voice just fine. Phone calls work fine too. It just doesn't work when I try to take a video.
