Can't delete songs from iPhone 5s?
I can't swipe/delete a certain few songs from my iPhone 5s (iOS 7). The majority of the songs will allow me to swipe left and delete, but not a certain few. They are actually on the device (not on the cloud) and I have tried hooking up to iTunes and deleting that way, but NOTHING seems to get rid of these songs. Its quickly becoming one more reason I'm considering switching to Android…
Try syncing with your computer. Download the latest version of iTunes, open it, plug your device and sync as you wish (Music, Apps, Books, etc)
OR…
Go to settings and Toggle iTunes match to 'Off' Under settings.
OR…
Settings > General > Usage and then choose the Music app and delete the chosen music.
- Why can't I delete songs on my iPhone 4S? So on my music in my phone like almost all of my songs are no highlighted. So I can't click on them to play it or I can't do the swipe thing to delete them. I'm really confused. What do I do?
- Why can't I delete or add songs onto my iPhone through iTunes 11.0.4? I can delete songs directly off of my iPhone but even if they're deleted, iTunes still says they're on my iPhone. I also can't delete any songs off of OR add any songs onto my iPhone through iTunes. What is happening. I have fully updated both my iPhone and iTunes.
- If I delete songs off of my iPhone, will it delete them off of my iPod, too? My iPod and iPhone is connected to the same account. However I want my songs on my iPod but not on my iPhone. If I delete it off my iPhone will it take it off my iPod too?
- If I delete songs off iTunes on my PC, will it delete them off my iPhone? IIm trying to make disk space room on my laptop, and iTunes takes up alot of it. I just want to clear out my iTunes on my PC to make room, and then continue downloading music in the future. I just want to know if it will delete the music on my iPhone (i don't want to delete it off my phone)
