Can the iPhone 6 front camera autofocus?
I'm starting a YouTube soon and would like to vlog with the iPhone, IIm wondering if the front camera can autofocus and make the background blurry, IIm currently on my grandpa s iPhone 4 with iOS 7 and I notice that only the back camera has autofocus, HDR and flash but not the front
The front camera on most phones are there for skype, facetime, and similar. As such they are very wide angle and fixed focus.
I'm not going to tell you how bad this is going to look if you try to use it to vlog, give it a go and see for yourself. The only thing you'll be doing wrong here is using the wrong tool for the job!
It's pan-focus meaning it does not focus but it makes everything relatively in-focus all the time. Same thing goes with both cameras.
