Can you activate a bad imei iphone on straight talk?

I'm trying to find a cheap iphone to switch to since the one I have is verizon and I need to switch to straight talk. And the cheaper ones have bad imei or are broken. So I was wondering if you could still activate a bad imei iphone on straight talk. Any help?

NO, that would defeat the whole purpose of flagging a stolen phone as a "bad esn (imei)" wouldn't it.

Blacklisted phones are blacklisted on all mobile carriers. That is why these phones as so cheap dude(tte), think about it.

Your not going to find a $650 iPhone or Android for super cheap, look for a phone to buy that you can actually afford.

Bad imei or esn means it's shut off-reported stolen, lost, or unpaid. Lost or stolen forget it. No carrier will touch it so it's a paper weight. Unpaid you have options. You can repair or replace bad ones but it costs a few--not that I suggest you do it. Your coin, your choice.

  • IPhone through Straight Talk? Good or bad idea? I'm thinking of switching from Verizon to Straight Talk (to purchase an iPhone and their $45 per month unlimited everything plan) but I'm not sure if this is a good choice. The unlimited data part sounds too good to be true. Just wondering what your thoughts are before I make a big investment here.
  • How to switch AT&T iPhone 5 to Straight Talk, Keep old Straight Talk number? I bought a used AT&T iPhone 5 off eBay today for my girlfriend. I also bought a NANO Sim for Straight Talk. She wants to keep her old straight talk number. How do I switch everything over so data, mms, etc works and she keeps her number? There's lots of different info out there right now, I just want some definitive instructions on how to make the switch properly.
