Can you add gigabytes to an iphone?

I recall shopping at Sam's Club (a wholesale store) a few years back and seeing in the electronics section cards that added GB to Apple iPods so they would have more storage space. I have not been able to find anything like this online, be it amazon, google, sam's club webstie or even the apple website. I currently have a 16GB iPhone 4S and i do not have enough storage for all of my music i would like to keep this phone because it is fairly new i just need more storage space on the device. If anyone can help me figure this out it would be greatly appreciated

No. This is an Apple product. You want more capacity? Buy a more expensive phone with more memory. Whatever you saw at Sam's had nothing to do with adding memory capacity.

No. The 4s does not have an expandable memory card slot. You are stuck with your 16 gigs of space. Try clearing out some apps that you don't use a lot.

Hope this helped!

  • Why does restoring my iphone from a backup use up so many gigabytes? I have an iphone 5 and I'm trying to restore my phone from last backup. Unfortunately, the back up is cancelled about 30 minutes in because my hard disk runs out of space. I have 10 gigs left so there should be any problem with that. I went to mobilesync folder and then to the backup folder and there's one folder there. Once you click on that folder there are thousands of files in that folder that have several modified dates on them. Basically can I just delete the old dated files?

  • Why do my iPhone pictures take up so much gigabytes? I have a 32GB iPhone 5, and I'm trying to free up space on my phone, I only have 379 pictures (31 videos but they aren't long, longest video is 5 minutes) and it's used up 6.4 GB! My friends have somewhere near 800 pictures and they only use up around 1 or 2 GB. Any reason why my pictures use up so much GB? And any way I can make them use less?
