Can you fix a jammed sleep button on an iPhone 4?
My friend is very kindly selling me her iPhone 4 for 50$ and it's a 32GB, but the sleep button is jammed and the battery life isn't very good anymore she says. My first question is can you fix a jammed sleep button, whether that be buying a part or whatever to fix it and how much does it cost to fix the battery?
You'd have to take it to the Apple store for both problems, but I do know that the battery replacements usually cost about $150 for a new one.
The Apple Store is a bad place to take it because they will charge you an outrageous price. Your best bet is to use www.xpressfix.com who also owns www.1hourcellphonerepair.com. The sleep button is also called the power button repair. It's $40 plus tax to repair and they just charge you for the battery (like 20 bucks) once they are in the phone and no labor because they are already in there.
