Can you go to jail over ebay and does the police get involved?
Hi I'm after some advice and worried sick I sold my iPhone 6 plus for 800 on ebay 2 weeks ago he paid I posted out with tracking number and I trasfured the money to my bank account and used it to pay some bills off last night I had a inbox from eBay saying the buyer as opened a case be cos the phone box was empty no phone only a box wot is completely untrue so wot happens now if I just leave it? Iv removed all my bank details from eBay and paypal if I just leave it and don't refund the money will I get locked up or police turn up on my doorstep please help I'm worried sick the buyer is trying to pull a fast one
Police won't get involved but ebay collectors will and they can take you to court you need to fight for your cause and tell them you sent the phone out maybe go to the post office for verification you sent it out and with something inside once you have that you can tell ebay you have the receipt and proof also say once you sent it it was out of your control if the iphone didn't arrive properly
You set yourself up for a fast one! Do you understand the COLOSSAL stupidity of shipping an $800 item without a tracking number, much less insurance?
The phone is gone and you will lose a lot more than $800 when Paypal's collection agency tacks on interest and fees and destroys your credit and starts calling your family, neighbors, and boss.
I keep saying that newbies have NO BUSINESS selling highly sought-after expensive gadgets on eBay. This is the INEVITABLE result. EBay, on the other hand, keeps telling newbies how easy it is to sell and even promising them $100 to do it.
- Would the police get involved for an expensive stolen object by a minor? My mom bought me glasses($400). They are "real" and the lenses are made to fit my eye vision. I'm in middle school and a high school boy who has a reputation for stealing things (ipods, iphones etc) stole my glasses while he was hanging out with me. Will the police be willing to get involved in this? I live in California. I really need them back, they're expensive and I can barely see anything during class… Or life
- Why does Netflix keep pausing and playing over and over? I'm using it on my iphone 4. And I have checked my connections over and over I've uninstalled reinstalled, signed in signed back and everything else that the troubleshoot website has recommend. And it's gotten annoying. It didn't start doing this as much until I updated the app before the ios 7 release. I'm currently using the trial for netflix and my laptop doesn't work so I can get it on anything but my phone.
- Police can they watch over your iPhone? I got introuble with the police in the summer for a thing over snapchat IIm 13 and I live in Ireland my mam said to me that they re monotoring all my stuff and she said that they said IIm not allowed on snap chat again or they ll call back? Is my mam just saying this? Or are they actually help?
- My iPhone 4S keeps turning off over and over and over again? I was on my phone just listening to OM&M on pandora and going on twitter when all of a sudden it shut off and now it's stuck on the turning off screen for like an hour or two. What do i do I'm FREAKING OUT.
