Make an emergency call an an iphone without a plan?
My iphone 4 doesn't have a plan currenty, but has been activated in the past (I bought it off ebay, it has a sim card yada yada, it was/is with Verizon) Basically everything works just I don't have a plan, and obviously the previous owner isint still paying the bill, and ended the contract, ect.
Anyways, lets say i'm in the woods and I have service, someone gets hurt, could I use the emergency call feature? Or at least call the operator? If not do companies offer just that feature? I don't really want someone to die because I can't make a call to 911.

No. You can make an emergency call on a phone that is password protected, but it needs to have a connection to work. A connection is gained by having a valid plan.
- When I go on a bike ride or just walk around, my phone screen turns on for some reason and starts dialing numbers in the Emergency Call? Also it has locked me out of my phone for putting in the wrong passcode numerous times. Is there an answer to fix this? I have an iPhone 6S
- What happens when you press Emergency call on your IPhone 4S? So when my phone is locked, it says "Emergency call" underneath the 7. I have pressed it many times on accident. And when I do, it gives me a dial pad and says "emergency call" in like five different languages. So it doesn't call anybody unless you dial a number. So what would happen if I called someone and it wasn't an emergency? Like my parents or something? Would it go into like a regular call or will it connect to the emergency response too?

- IPhone 3GS stuck in Emergency Call? So, my friend has an iPhone 3GS. It's stuck in the Emergency Call screen and iTunes won't recognize his iPhone. Now, I know about DFU mode. Only problem is, his power button is broken. Y'know, the button on the top of the phone, which is required for DFU mode (at least I think it is). Please, I just want to help him out. Is there any way he can fix this?
