Can you upload a backup from one type of Apple device onto another?
I feel like this is probably a dumb question but is one that can easily be answered! If I backup my iPad onto my computer, am I able to install the same backup onto an iPhone? I'm about to get a new iPhone 6 and would like to put all of my apps, messages, photos, etc. From my iPad onto it once I get it.
If the phone shares the same account then yes. Some apps on ipad are ipad only apps though, all iphone apps run on ipad but specific ipad apps do not run on iphone.
Should be able to. Of course iPad specific things wouldn't transfer over.
- Would you get a notification on your iPhone if your Apple ID was used to log into another device? I'm unsure if I have unknowingly given my Apple ID to a scammer in the past, but I curious would I have received a notifcation on my iPhone, in a form of a text or pop up? I've heard that before and I wanted to make sure. Even if you didn't have two-factor authentication on.
- Will my jailbreak on one device transfer to another device via iTunes? So I bought an iPhone 5 today and I'm afraid to sync it to my Apple ID/ iTunes because my 8GB iPod is also synced to that iTunes account and its jailbroken. I don't want my jailbroken iPod to affect my iPhone 5. Will it affect it? I don't think it will but I just want to make sure before I sync it for the first time.
- How do you stop calls coming from one device coming to your device from iCloud (apple iPhone)? I'm 13 and i don't have a credit card so i use my mums account and since my phone and her phone has the same icloud, her calls come into MY phone and i've tried making a new apple id but it won't work so how can i stop it (i've already logged out on my phone) so how can i stop it?
- Is there an app where you can send videos from one iphone to another one? I need to send a vid to my friend, we can't use airdrop cos we don't live in same state, I also can't sent it on Facebook. Is there and app or a feature besides iMessage where I can send a videos, any lenth?
