Can you use a Straight Talk iPhone 5 On Virgin Mobile?
I recently purchased an iPhone 5 from Walmart and it has been on Straight Talk since I got it. Straight Talk has disappointed me quite a bit, and I'm wanting to know if I can switch from ST to Virgin Mobile, since they now support iPhone 5s. The ST iPhones are factory unlocked, so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to switch. I do, however, have to pay $20 a month for the next two years to pay for the actual phone, so I'm not sure if that means I'm somehow bound to Straight Talk.
All unlocked iphones are GSM if they are factory unlocked. I'm pretty sure virgin mobile is CDMA. Straight talk actually has phones on both network types. If your phone is unlocked and uses a sim card you should be able to use any GSM network.
