Can you use H2O iPhone 5 with cricket?
I got an iPhone 5s from a friend. It used H2O carrier and off contact. I use cricket and was wondering how to switch over. I want to keep cricket but I don't know if the new iPhone is locked or not. How can I unlock it to use cricket?
If you bring it into Cricket, they'll be able to tell you with certainty. However, just by googling it, it appears that it would be possible. Here's why: (this will get technical)
Okay, so if you look at the link in the source, it says H2O uses the AT&T network. It says the same thing for Cricket, therefore if you have an H2O phone, it should also work with cricket. Hope this helps.
Yes you can and if you are planning to buy one do install and also try Leo Privacy Guard in order to secure your important apps from others.
- Will my AT&T iPhone LOCKED work for h2o? This is my second time asking this question! And I have not gotten the answers that I'm looking for. I have a AT&T iPhone 4.It is running IOS 6.It is not unlocked to other phone companies. I know that I have to unlock it to use simple mobile. But what about h2o do I have to unlock it? Or can I just pop the sim card in & call it a day?
- Sprint iPhone on h2o, simple mobile? Is it possible to have h2o service running on my sprint iPhone 4s? Or even simple mobile, virgin mobile, straight talk, or anything else? My phone isn't jail broken and not unlocked. Can I still have any of these services? If so, how can I go about getting this done?
- My iPhone 6s plus carrier is cricket 26.1 but when I use the cricket sim it does not work. What is up with that? It use to be a t-mobile carrier but after I tried to unlock it with the cricket sim, the carrier suddenly changed to cricket 29.1 but it still did not work.
- IMessage won't activate and can't send pictures on h2o wireless? I have an iPhone 4S on ios 7 and just activated it with h2o wireless. I can call go on the internet and send regular text messages but it won't let me activate iMessage or send pictures.
