Changed country on iTunes Store. Can't change it back

I change the country of my iTunes Store on my iphone to download apps and songs from when I used to live in Australia. I then figured I'd use up whatever cash was still left on the Australian card with some apps I've been wanting to purchase.

After downloading the apps I went to change it back to the UK store only to find there wasn't any money on the Australian card and it won't let me change back until I pay for the apps.

I can't put any money into the Australian account as the details are long gone. What to do?
