Checking in at Southwest Airlines Mobilile?
I'm flying for the first time in a few days and I'm a little confused how I check in.
Southwest has an app that lets you check in on your iphone 24 hours prior, I think I'm going to do that, but if I do that do I just click check in and that's it? Wouldn't you need a ticket or something to show security or someone?
You can check in on your phone or a computer. You need to have a boarding pass to get through security and on the plane. You can print it when you check in on the computer, or at the airport when you arrive. But you should check in as close to the 24 hour mark as possible to get a good place on the seating line.
The boaarding pass would show up on yout iphone *** a barcode and tsa will
just scan it as will the gate agent at southwest
Your boarding pass will be on your phone as a barcode. Be aware that NOT all airports accept e-boarding passes so check on the Southwest website.
If you're checking in bags and are wanting to do the e-boarding pass, I would go ahead and get a paper boarding pass as a back up copy
