Clearing an applications cache/data on iPhone 5?
I want to clear my apps data/cache cause the apps themselves aren't taking a lot of space but the data & cache are. On my android phone I'd just have to go to settings>applications>manage applications then click on whatever app & press clear data & clear cache. I'm not sure how to on the iphone
Usually you would just want to suspend/kill the app by using the "multi-task" clearer (Home button, press down on the screen until the red comes up)
- Will clearing cache on my iPhone delete my voice recordings? I've recorded songs on the Voice Recorder app on my iPhone and I'm thinking about clearing cache on it, but I'm afraid that if I clear out my cache, my recordings will be gone. Will that happen?
- Will clearing cache in an app make me lose data or memory? I need to clear up space on my iphone and I keep reading about clearing cache. If I do that will I lose progress on a game, for example, or will I basically be resting the app? Basically will I notice a difference if I do clear my cache?
- Run-time memory-clearing application for iphone? I have iPhone 3GS 6.0.1, and it kept slowing and freezing even after reset or restart. It wasn't like this before. They said i should try installing run-time memory-clearing application, but i don't know any app. Anyone knows any run-time memory-clearing app that's free?
- Is clearing RAM on iPhone safe? I want to clear my RAM memory, but I need to make sure it's safe and I won't damage my phone. IIm using the method where you hold down the power button then the home button.
