Computer won't connect to hotspot?
My windows 8.1 won't connect to my iPhone 5s' hotspot after I bought a data package.
Turn your hotspot and your data off and then turn it on again. While doing this, turn airplane mode on and off on your computer. Have you used the hotspot with that computer using a different hotspot password? Your computer will reject the hotspot if it's not the same password. Change the password back or get your computer to the "enter key" step and enter the new password. Check if your carrier allows for hotspot or if you used up the amount of hotspot you were allowed.
Try Windows 7 or Linux. Windows 8 appears to be terrible.
In windows 7 and 8.1 pro the problem is they are restricted with saved passwords and badnwidth range details.
So what you have to do is:
1.Click the present Wi-Fi hotspot and so forget password or forget network.
2. Then don't enter the key.
3.Disable your Wi-Fi by going to control panel and disabling the adapter.
4. Enable it again.
5. Now turn in your Wi-Fi switch ON.
6. Select the Wi-Fi and enter the password.
7. Now it should work. ///// else install a latest driver for your adapter Wi-Fi.
