Could this iPhone be locked on iCloud?
My friend from slovenia found an iPhone 4s on the train and kept it on for over a week hoping for the owner to call but they never did. She visited Kenya 2 weeks ago and brought it and now I have it.
Since I didn't have the passcode, I restored it on iTunes in recovery mode (iTunes updated it to IOS 7 without asking for iCloud credentials) and now intend to factory unlock it so that I can use it on my Kenyan network. I'm not very familiar with iPhones and I have read somewhere online that if its locked on iCloud I can't use it even if I remove the carrier lock. I'm just wondering if there's a way to check if it is locked on iCloud without first spending money on the factory unlock.
Settings > iCloud > Account. If you see and account. Attempt to delete it or even email/contact owner to have them remove it. If you can, then it's fine, if you can't then the lock is activated. Best luck.
- Itunes could not connect to the iphone because it is locked with a passcode? First, I forgot my password and now its disabled because I entered too many wrong keys. So I'm trying to restore it in Itune but it said this "itunes could not connect to the iphone because it is locked with a passcode". And the *** moment is how can I open if I already forgot the password. Can you guys help me how to restore the phone.

- I could get the iPhone 5s in like 3 weeks but I could get the 5c tommorow? I could get the 5s in a few weeks and I love it but I also really like the iPhone 5c and I could get a great otter box case for it or get the 5s but that would take 3 more weeks. What should I do?! - Could I use the 25 dollar plan for AT&T Go Phone on my iPhone 4s that is locked to AT&T? I believe the plan was 250 mins of talk with unlimited texts and mms, correct? Also how does the 5 dollar add-on for 50mb of data work? Do I have to pay another 5 bucks every month which would make it 30 bucks a month?
