What to do when you have a dead iphone 6 plus?
So yesterday my mom decided to take my phone and usually when i'm not on my phone the battery goes down, so this morning she gave it to me and i tried putting in the charging and turning it on and nothing happened the screen was just black i'm guessing it needed charging but the charging symbol isn't even popping up do i just charge it and wait and see what happens because i tried charging it for 5 hours and also making sure everything was connected, does it maybe need longer to charge? I don't know what to do i really need my phone.
Plug it into your computer and if it shows up there try restoring it if none of that works call apple

After its been on charge for at least two hours, press and hold both the home an power buttons at the same time, until the Apple logo appears - it should take around ten seconds.
That forces a "cold boot", as if the phone had been turned off properly rather than the battery dieing.
It does not delete anything.
It's a common requirement for phones and tablets - the Android equivalent is usually power + volume up at the same time.
If you leave it plugged in for a couple hours and get nothing than I would suspect the battery needs replacing. They have lots of local places that can do this for you.

- Would you upgrade to the new iPhone xs if you already have iPhone 8 plus? I got an iPhone 8+ and it's not broke. It's just slightly cracked on top but i can still see the screen and it works good. I kind of want the iPhone xs though, not the max version the regular. If i upgrade then it will make my phone bill 18 bucks higher. Would that be worth it?

I found a case on Amazon that is a rose gold color (to go with the new color option of the phone) but IIm not sure if I can buy it and make it fit my 6 Plus. I don't want to get the new phone yet either but like the color of the case.
