Where is the dialer on WhatsApp?

I'm using the latest version of the official app with iPhone 7. When I press the phone icon I only get a list of my contacts who are using WhatsApp. How can I dial the number of someone not in my contacts list?

There isn't any. Currently WhatsApp calling is only for users of the app. I mean both the users have to be active on the app to make a call (voice or video). To dial someone not in your contact list, you can save the number and ask him/her politely to register for the app.

This isn't like Viber or Skype, as you got no credits or calling minutes that you can recharge or earn to use. However, WhatsApp might soon or might never add this facility as it is now owned by Facebook and Messenger hasn't got this facility yet

  • Whatsapp iphone pics and videos? I have whatsapp on my iphone 4. When i click on the video or picture it automatically saves to my camera roll and i can view it. However i have lost my images but they are still present in the conversation on whatsapp. When i click the image it opens but doesn't save, if i hold down on the image it doesn't let me save and there's no button for it. Could somebody find me a solution, thanks in advance.
