The shape, size, and photos are new on iphone 5 with many features that other iPhones don't have although there are rumors that the iphone 6 is coming out soon
Different shape, longer screen with better colors, faster cpu and gpu, better camera iphone 4s = 5mp and iphone 5 is 8mp
it's not worth upgrading to iphone 5, but upgrading to samsung galaxy s3 or note 2 it's worth it!

The iPhone 5 features a larger screen, it is faster and more responsive, it also has 4G/LTE.
It's probably not worth updating until the next iPhone
The iPhone 5 is a big upgrade from a 4S, but if you have the 4S then stick with it.
If this is your first iPhone then you should definitely get the newest one!
However, you may want to wait because the iPhone 5S is rumored to be released in SUMMER 2013.
