Do I have to buy a new iPhone 5s if I switch to AT&T?
My dad is considering switching from Verizon to AT&T but I wouldn't want to buy another 5S for $400 like the one I currently own.
The Verizon iPhone 5S actually should work on AT&T, since they contain universal technology and Verizon is required to unlock all 4G devices. That said, if you're signing up for a new post-paid contract, financially it might make more sense for you to sell your phone and buy a new one, since your new contract would be priced as if it were subsidizing the purchase of a new phone anyway.
No need to buy a new phone. If its locked to Verizon, just get them to unlock it (should be free of charge if out of contract). Sign up with AT&T then put the nanosim in.
- Would I be able to switch carriers without having to switch phones? I'm with Consumer Cellular and I have an iPhone SE, but I'm thinking of switching carriers so that I can get unlimited data. I don't want to get a new phone because I've had my current one about six months, I really like it, and it works great. I'm not locked into a contract with Consumer Cellular. Would I be able to switch to another carrier without having to purchase a new phone?
- With my new iPhone 7 plus if I set it up as a new phone instead of moving my iCloud data to the new phone would I lose my? Unlimited data plan and phone number or would that still be there I already put my SIM card in 10 points
- Should i buy a new iPhone or a new one? Boost mobile is gonna support iPhones on November 8 and i wanna get one. I'm wandering if i should buy one directly off the boost mobile website or get one on Ebay and hope that it will work with boost.
- If I buy an app on my iphone will I have to buy it again if I buy a new Iphone? Next month I'm getting an Iphone5s currently on my 4s I have a few purchased apps. Will I have to rebuy it when I get the 5s?
