Do I have to remove a separate screen protector with a LifeProof Case?

I have a LifeProof iPhone 4s case, and I have used it before, but I always have to remove my screen protector that I already have on my iPhone. I don't want to have to remove a new screen protector every time I want to use my LifeProof case. Is it really necessary to remove my separate iPhone screen protector in order to use my LifeProof case?

Shouldn't have to. I've got Otterboxes and have screen protectors on both of mine. When I use the Otters I never have to peal it off to get good functionality/response when in the case. Is it a size issue or response digitzer issue that's giving you grief? Best luck.
