Do iPhone app developers steal ideas from android?

I'm developing an app solely on the Android and was wondering, if my app gets successful, will there be rips offs on the apple store. Or would it be a good idea to let a developer develop it for me on the iPhone after I finish the android version?

Apple steals ideas from their jailbreak community. I wouldn't be surprised to see a rip-off.

No. A lot of people say that because they find a feature that is pretty essential to a good user experience and is similar to Android. Much like how game developers look to modders for inspiration, app developers look to jailbreakers for inspiration. Its a way to see what users want and implement something similar into their products.

One thing is guaranteed, there will always be competition and apps like yours. If you think that you will write an app and that will be the only one like it then you haven't been around this business much. I wouldn't worry about it unless it becomes a hugely successfull app as that is hard to do, most apps are not that way, but you are right that you need it on iOS if its successfull because most money is made form their store.
