I bought from a local store and they told me it was original and within a week it stopped charging. I will only buy from apple store
No. Although it is very difficult to get an original iPhone 5 charger, it possible to get it from somewhere else. I got my iPhone 5s charger from Ebay and have been using it for 5 months now. It cost me some money but less than that of apple store. You should go on youtube to watch how to differentiate between an original apple charger vs fake apple charger it helps a lot in getting the original charger from other places.

The charger that came with my phone would work until about march then I had 2 others chargers which both broke a week or two later. Then I ordered 2 more from the apple store and both broke at the same time in may. Should I get my phone checked out or is it the apple chargers? They all still look perfectly brand new. They not damage or torn up or anything. They just stop charging my phone!
