Does Apple's warranty cover cracked screen (IPhone)?
Long story short a guy took my phone from my friend and was playing around with it. Just when he was returning it by putting it in my hood, I turned around and the phone dropped and the screen cracked.
I checked that, yes, my phone is under warranty but I was just wondering if Apple covered a cracked screen. If not, what are my options of repairing it? What will the costs be for the options? P. S. The cost will be split among the guys because no way am I paying for it…

Nope cracked screens are a real problem because of the potential of being dropped.
Our granson dropped his when ridding a roller coaster at King Island and Verizon replaced his because he took out an insurance on it when he got it one.
Good idea with the iPhones that are not exactly cheep to buy.

- Will apple still cover me with their 1 year apple warranty? My uncle gave me his iPhone 4S as a gift, it has warranty until November 2013 and for some reason the phone turns off by itself about every 3 hours!
